SIA Door Supervisors Training Course:

The SIA Door Supervisor licence offers a gateway to a rewarding career and is unique as it qualifies an individual work as a Door Supervisor and Security Guard. In the UK, all security industry qualifications are specified by the SIA and offered through the following awarding bodies: EDI, BIIAB, City & Guilds and Edexcel. Course Description

This nationally recognised award, spread over 4 days is an introductory course aimed at giving learners the basic job training in Door Supervision. The course covers the key subjects recommended by the SIA enabling the learner to apply for an SIA Licence.

Part 1 – Roles and Responsibility (15 Hours)

Part 2 – Communication Skills and Conflict Resolution (15 Hours)

• How to eject and refuse entry in a manner that will reduce risk of conflict
• Understanding laws of arrest
• Identifying types of incidents and how to deal with them
• Avoiding conflict and reducing risk
• Defusing Conflict
• Resolving Conflict
• Learning from Conflict
