Get your SIA Licence:
Whether you want a security job as Door Supervisor, Security Guard or any other sector, you will need an SIA licence, which you can apply for as soon as you know that you have passed your SIA training qualification. Licence application times vary but generally you should allow about five weeks for the SIA to process your application.

Emergency First Aid At Work Courses
We now offer First Aid Courses for companies. 1 and 3 days courses are available.
Emergency First Aid At Work (1 Day) - Only £70 per person
If you have more than one employee working at a location, the Health & Safety Executive requires you to undertake a thorough first aid risk assessment, once you have done a risk assessment for the workplace, you may find that you do not require a fully qualified first aider.
First Aid At Work (3 Days) - Only £180 per person
It is a requirement under The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, that employers, are to provide their employees with suitable First - Aid equipment, facilities and personnel to provide adequate first aid if they become injured or ill at work.
How to Apply for the SIA licence:
Applying for the SIA licence after your training course is easy. We will include a step by step guide on how to become SIA licenced security guards and SIA licenced door supervisors immediately upon completion of the SIA licence training course. It is important that candidates apply to the SIA for a licence to practice upon completion in order to work as a SIA security guard or door supervisor in the industry.

Finding a job in Security as a Door Supervisor
Below is some information you may find useful about how to get a job as a door supervisor.
Door supervisors are responsible for the safety and security of customers and staff in venues such as pubs, bars, nightclubs and other licensed premises or at public events. They spend most of their time at the entrance to the premises and check the suitability of people coming in. This may involve checking that a person is not underage or carrying harmful objects or substances. They may refuse entry to anyone they consider unsuitable.
Door supervisors may earn the annual equivalent of between £17,000 and £28,000 a year. However, the majority are paid an hourly rate of between £7 and £12, possibly reaching £15 when experienced.
